Friday Foto Fun with Lilies

Its time for Carrie's Friday Foto Fun:-)

A couple days ago, Janice at 5 Minutes for Mom said goodbye to June . Today, I want to say hello to July with this:

The lilies are in bloom in July and this is a beautiful sample from my garden! Happy July Everyone:-)

Oh it is so pretty. Mine are all burned up this time of year. I am inspired to keep shoveling those rocks and digging them out. One day a flower bed will emerge from that rubble :)

Absolutely beautiful flower and shot! My daughter came to us over Easter. My aunt has given her the nickname Lilly. They hold a very special place in my heart now.

Beautiful! Our backyard is all dirt as we work on it (still). But someday I can imagine colour beside brown.

Wait a minute, is that a bloom from some kind of squash plant? Or is it a flower? I'm a bonehead when it comes to botanical things.

What a beautiful day lilly! What's its name? We're having a devil of a time with our day lillies and the increasing deer population. But for some reason, they won't eat the yellow ones. Hmmmmmmmmm...it's truly a mystery. Hope you and yours have the Happiest of 4ths!
