Garden Chores

After our trip, all I can muster up today was cleaning my pool and pulling weeds in the vegetable garden. I guess I am still on vacation because that is as far as I got before we jumped in my newly cleaned pool:-)

Just a side note, we have one of those Quick Set pools. In the past, we have had tons of problems with the ones with the inflatable top. They leak air. They leak water. And unless you are on completely (and I mean completely) level ground, you have a deep end. So, this year, we got the kind with the frame and so far so good! So, if your yard is less than stable, I recommend it:-)

We might need to invest in a pool. It's just too stinkin' hot already...who can stand a heat index of 105 and have 95% humidity???

We just bought a pool yesterday. (easy set) I doesn't have a frame. I hope it works. My hard is pretty level so *fingers crossed*!

I've gotta get after those dang weeds, too. But school and gnats stand squarely in my way!

It takes a lot of energy to clean a pool, so I think you're doing great!

We had a HUGE above ground pool for years in this house. I got tired of sinking hundreds and hundreds into maintenance every year so we took it out about 3 years ago.

Oh man am I jealous of you with your pool. I wouldn't have made it very far with my chores either. Enjoy!

i always say I need a vacation from vacation whenever we get back home. So, a pool sounds like a Great way to unwind! my parents bought that kind of pool and they love it. They live in NV, so they leave it up year round. Then my father built a yurt to "house" the pool so my mother can do her water physical therapy year-round, rain, wind or shine. Oh, and it's great cuz now she doesn't get sunburned.
